Evidence status

Verified scope: exact VIN and clearly legible content on an archived photograph of the installed SPID. The two auction listings are dated appearances of the same vehicle. Present originality, owner and location remain unverified. A separately photographed GM of Canada conformity label clearly repeats CCS1461123308 and manufacture date 11/75; artifact authenticity and an exact assembly day remain unestablished.

Factory documents

Photographed installed Service Parts Identification label in Bring a Trailer lot 134,949 gallery: VIN CCS1461123308; model CC10903; 131-inch wheelbase; printed header date NOV 14 75, not an independently verified assembly day; clear F44, LF8, M40, N33, C60, YE9, Z82, ZY2 and literal ZV7 entries. Recovered original images have been reviewed for these selected readings. The adjacent trim label has blank VIN and wheelbase fields and lists 12S Frost White, 53P Yuba Gold and 63D Saddle Custom Cloth; it is not an independent VIN match. Complete code transcription and artifact authenticity remain unestablished. A separate GM of Canada conformity label in the later Hagerty gallery bears VIN CCS1461123308 and manufacture date 11/75 (November 1975). Its historical GVWR of 6,200 lb and front/rear GAWR of 3,400/3,750 lb agree with the photographed metal plate. This is a month-level label reading; it does not establish the SPID’s NOV 14 75 header as an exact assembly day, authenticate the artifact or establish present safe loading capacity.

Physical vehicle evidence

Auction photographs show the pickup and later fitted items including a camper shell and LED lights. Their originality is not established. The photographed GM metal plate repeats CCS1461123308 and records historical GVWR 6,200, front GAWR 3,400 and rear GAWR 3,750; these ratings do not establish present safe loading capacity. No third-party image is reproduced here.

Owner or seller statements

Bring a Trailer and Hagerty descriptions relay seller acquisition, service, ownership and condition assertions. They are attributed claims. The five-digit odometer readings are TMU.

Later research

January 30, 2024 BaT $16,500 high bid, reserve not met; October 8, 2024 Hagerty $8,500 high bid. Neither is a completed sale. ZV7 is retained as literal SPID wording only.

Complete the remaining code transcription only where supported by legible source images; establish image rights and source credit; seek primary material before interpreting ZV7 or further equipment/application claims. Current owner, location and total mileage unknown.

Documented identity and factory label

Bring a Trailer lot 134,949 and the later Hagerty Marketplace listing both identify chassis/VIN CCS1461123308. The archived photograph of the installed Service Parts Identification (SPID) label was previously inspected in the RareTruckInfo research archive. It visibly repeats the VIN, model CC10903, 131-inch wheelbase and printed header date NOV 14 75. That header date is not an independently verified assembly day. Clearly legible entries include F44 Heavy Duty Chassis Equipment, LF8 454 V8, M40 automatic transmission, N33 Comfortilt steering wheel, C60 air conditioning, YE9 Silverado, Z82 Trailering Special, ZY2 conventional two-tone, and the literal ZV7 wording “DELETE FREEDOM FEATURE.” An adjacent trim label has blank VIN and wheelbase fields and lists 12S Frost White, 53P Yuba Gold and 63D Saddle Custom Cloth. It is not an independent VIN match. The photographed GM metal plate repeats CCS1461123308 and records historical GVWR 6,200, front GAWR 3,400 and rear GAWR 3,750; these ratings do not establish present safe loading capacity. These are readings from a photographed label; they do not establish present mechanical originality or the meaning of ZV7 beyond its literal text.

Hagerty source gallery, selected label rechecked October 2, 2026.

Later observations and claims

The January 2024 Bring a Trailer listing describes a Yuba Gold Fleetside pickup with camper shell, Rally wheels and LED exterior lights. Its description attributes acquisition from an original Canadian owner in May 2021, service work and a California title to the seller. The October 2024 Hagerty description adds seller-supplied ownership, equipment and condition statements. These claims have not been independently established by factory documents. The odometer was described as approximately 16,000 miles shown in January and 17,369 miles indicated in October; total mileage is unknown (TMU). Campbell, California was a listing location in 2024, not verified current custody.

Market history

Bring a Trailer recorded a $16,500 high bid with reserve not met on January 30, 2024. Hagerty Marketplace recorded an $8,500 high bid on October 8, 2024. They are two unsold auction appearances of the same VIN, not completed sales or separate trucks.
