VIN-matched auction record
Bring a Trailer lot 9,591 prints chassis CCV146S156266 for a 1976 Chevrolet C10 Custom Deluxe two-wheel-drive long-bed Fleetside pickup and reports a $13,776 sale on May 14, 2018. Classic.com later indexes the same VIN, last seen February 22, 2022. These are appearances of one vehicle.
Factory evidence and restoration account
A readable Service Parts Identification label photograph repeats VIN CCV146S156266 and model CC10903. Selected rows read LF5, V8 ENGINE – 350 C.I.; GT4, rear axle 3.73; M40; and 60L, Santa Fe Tan. These are direct readings of the pictured label. Current component originality and the label’s authenticity remain unestablished. The seller described a 2016 frame-up restoration, rebuilt 350 V8 and three-speed automatic, replacement body and trim parts, and aftermarket climate controls. The seller also reported a new sale through Galles Chevrolet in Albuquerque; no dealer invoice or repair receipts have been independently inspected.
Mileage and limits
The auction says the odometer was reset during restoration and lifetime chassis mileage is unknown. Classic.com later labels the exact-VIN vehicle “original” and lists 136,000 miles TMU; that classification and figure conflict with or do not resolve the restoration and reset-odometer account. CLASSIC.COM’s Clasiq auction index reports the same VIN sold for $16,000 at lot 622 on February 22, 2022. This is a secondary reported result; the original Clasiq page is unavailable and the fee basis is not established. Neither appearance establishes current custody or location. No third-party photographs or scans are reproduced.
