Factory-label evidence
VIN CKU246F379544 identifies a 1976 Chevrolet K20 Scottsdale pickup. The archived photograph of its Service Parts Identification (SPID) label gives model CK20903, 131.5-inch wheelbase and order QER624. It records LF4 400 cu in V8, M40 Turbo Hydra-Matic, G80 locking differential, Z62 Scottsdale, E63 Fleetside pickup box, E81 wood-floor box, N33 Comfortilt steering, N41 variable-ratio power steering, U63 AM pushbutton radio, and 41 Spring Green solid paint, among other equipment. The label is the evidence for factory configuration; the installed engine’s number stamping and originality have not been independently verified.
2006 title evidence
A photographed Minnesota title bearing exact VIN CKU246F379544 was issued August 31, 2006. Its assignment, dated December 19, 2006, records an odometer reading of 13,860 and checks “actual mileage.” That declaration documents the reading at that transaction only; it does not establish lifetime mileage in 2018, 2024 or today. Private owner and buyer names and addresses are omitted, and the title image is not reproduced.
One truck, several appearances
A February 2018 Bring a Trailer feature prints this VIN. The August 2018 auction reached $11,750 without a sale. The March 2024 auction again gives the VIN and reports a $20,100 sale. These are appearances of one survivor, not three K20s.
The 2024 description says the truck was refinished in green and fitted with replacement wood bed planks. The earlier feature called the paint Medium Lime Metallic while the archived SPID transcription lists 41 Spring Green; the label and later paint description are kept separate. The five-digit odometer showed about 24,000 miles in 2024, while the 2018 presentation claimed less than 22,500. Neither those later displays nor the 2006 transaction declaration establish lifetime mileage; total miles remain unknown. Other condition and maintenance descriptions are seller/platform accounts.
Research status
This is a same-year, SPID-backed K20/400 comparison control. The 400 engine code and truck configuration should not be used to authenticate a special package on another VIN. The SPID and title images are preserved in the 1976 reference archive for internal review; no third-party photographs or private personal details are reproduced, and image reuse rights have not been cleared.
