Documented identity
VIN CKU246Z110145 identifies a 1976 Chevrolet K20 Silverado Camper Special. The photographed Service Parts Identification label, build sheet, certification label, warranty material and dealer inspection documents match this VIN in the research archive. The build sheet identifies model CK20903 and records Frost White exterior, Saddle interior, Silverado (YE9), Camper Special (Z81) and 8,400-lb GVWR. Its factory engine is LF4 400 V8. A separate public-source certification-label photograph repeats this VIN and reads 11/75, 8,400-lb GVWR, 3,800-lb front GAWR and 5,560-lb rear GAWR.
Configuration and unresolved details
The SPID lists M40 Turbo Hydra-Matic; the build-sheet option line appears to read “M38 CBC AUTO TRAN.” This notation difference remains unresolved. The dealer describes the truck’s later engine as a 454; its displacement has not been independently verified from component identifiers. The seller says a dealer installed it early in the truck’s life, but no installation invoice has been inspected. LF4 400 is the factory-documented engine; the 454 and its installation timing are separate claims about later configuration. The photographed odometer displayed 23,971.6, while the seller reported roughly 123,971 total miles. Lifetime mileage is unverified.
