Evidence status

Verified exact VIN on a photographed GM identification/loading plate and across three auction pages. Original 2WD/250-six baseline is VIN-decoded; later 4WD/400/automatic is a modified, seller-described configuration. No SPID/build sheet or continuous ownership record.

Factory documents

Photographed GM identification/loading plate repeats TCD1461514050 and 4,900-lb GVWR. No SPID or build sheet recovered; the plate alone does not authenticate present engine, drivetrain or themed paint.

Physical vehicle evidence

Photographs show a fenderside pickup in green/yellow John Deere-themed finish and a four-wheel-drive presentation. Originality and conversion timing have not been established.

Owner or seller statements

Rosehill described a 400 and replacement Turbo 350 dated October 19, 2021; no repair invoice inspected. Carbuckle describes rebuilt components and repaint. Wild Rose repeats owner-reported repairs. These are attributed claims.

Later research

Rosehill 2021, Carbuckle 2022 and Wild Rose 2026 print the same VIN, so they count as one truck. Rosehill $11,000 is a closed bid, not confirmed sale; Carbuckle CAD $5,500 did not meet reserve and later offers were declined; Wild Rose completed without exposed price.

Open questions

VIN and configuration

A photographed GM identification/loading plate in Wild Rose Auction Services lot 46 carries VIN TCD1461514050 and a 4,900-pound GVWR. The VIN pattern points to a 1976 GMC conventional-cab two-wheel-drive half-ton originally coded for a 250 six. No SPID or build sheet has been recovered. The photographed truck and sellers’ descriptions show a later four-wheel-drive, 400 V8, automatic, John Deere-themed fenderside. The dates, parts and process of those changes are unverified; the present equipment is not authenticated as factory original.

One truck across three auctions

Rosehill Auction Service lot 14 prints this VIN for its December 8, 2021 auction. It shows an $11,000 current bid, 83 bids and bidding closed, without an explicit sold result. Its statement that the Turbo 350 was replaced October 19, 2021 is an auction claim; no repair invoice was inspected.

Formula/Carbuckle’s July 2022 listing repeats the VIN. Its auction ended with a CAD $5,500 high bid below reserve; later CAD $6,000 and $7,200 offers were declined. The page’s CAD $7,200 headline therefore is not a sale price. Wild Rose lot 46 repeated the VIN in April 2026 and shows bidding complete without exposing a price. These are three appearances of one truck.

Wild Rose shows “00403Mi” on a five-digit odometer and Carbuckle lists 403 miles; neither verifies lifetime mileage. The 2022 Alberta listing location does not establish present custody or location.
